The
Schwinn 428 elliptical trainer is very similar to the 418.Like the 418 it comes
with an articulating footplate that follows the natural motion of your foot and
supports your heel through the stride. It has a 18" stride that can accommodate
a wide range of users. In
addition it has wireless heart rate control and the ability to reverse the action.
Reverse elliptical motion will exercise different muscles.

Comments: As we mentioned in the Schwinn 418 elliptical
review, we believe it is a good value for the money. The Schwinn 428 is also a
good value if you are willing to pay an extra $300 for wireless heartrate control
and reverse action. If you are not concerned about those features then stick with
the 418.
